Jessica is now legally resident in the U.K

What can I say?? It's finally over. The mediation went very well and Jessica's father has a greed for her to be resident here in the U.K with arranged access for holidays.

I traveled to Leicester to the Reunite Office yesterday for the first mediation session. From what I could see it went well and that was confirmed this morning when we were able to agree on the Memorandum.

Without Reunite this would have been impossible. They were thorough and highly professional, I actually felt sad to leave. They have supported me all through this awful process supplying me with the vital information I so desperately needed. It was strange I went there not having met any of them yet I felt as though they had been with me all along (better stop the emotions are taking over).

Also Edward! what can I say......I asked Jessica a week or so ago after watching the news if she knew that Tony Blair was no longer Prime minister she replied "no" I then asked her if she knew who the new Prime minister was (thinking that they would have discussed it at school). She then replied promptly "Edward" when I said no, she didn't even give me chance to say Gordon Brown before she piped up "well I think it should be Edward he's lovely".........And you know what it might not be a bad idea this is a man who has a heart and thats all I want to say on the subject. Thankyou Edward we will never forget you!

I am really happy for all of you!

I think your case is a good example that it is never to late to reach a solution through mediation.

I hope others follow the example.

Take good care

I am so happy for you!!!! Finally you can go back to normal, finally Jessica can grow up without this pressure and insecurity. Well done.
I´ve been checking the website frequently to see how things go. I was just holding back with comments because I thought you had enough to deal with. But now.... It is so great because it is not only that you succeded it is good for all of us to see, that things are possible.
